For Gaspare we have created a launch strategy for the new collection “The Solitudes of the Ego”.
Having already collaborated in the past, we had carte blanche to create a website, an identity and a content strategy from scratch.
Overview















Gaspare Como is an artist and product designer who for years has been developing research dedicated to bridging the gap between art and product design. He needed a launch campaign for his new lamp collection.
His social profiles and his online presence did not reflect his professional and artistic career, so we created an editorial plan to prepare the public for the launch of the collection.
Analysis, strategy and interview


For Gaspare, an identity has been created that focuses on color and the contrast of sensations, in reference to his stylistic code and therefore to his artistic production.
The site was created specifically to collect the artist's production, cataloguing his works based on the series of belongings.
The business card therefore has orange and the duality between smooth and rough that distinguishes its technique. An editorial product that is linked to the digital one through a QR code that leads directly to the website.
The experience we have built is an artist's declaration of intent, where his Sicilian and multi-cultural personality is expressed. Right from the start, a custom-made loader evokes the welding techniques it uses to join heated metal droplets, until they become incandescent and orange.
Origins and cultures


The orange color was chosen together with Gaspare also in reference to his origins and his strong and lively personality.
Given the large multi-cultural audience, we welcome users from different cultures with the Localization of the text, rather than literal translations, we chose to speak like the natives, even with Sicilian.
We created a simple site that would allow us to display the works in an attractive way, and thanks to micro-interactions, given a touch of life to navigation.
Everything was tested with end users who provided feedback to improve the navigability and the use of the site.


Results


Our partner has obtained full support, from the announcement of the campaign to the creation of a handmade digital identity for him.
The site that we have built follows the logic of the artist catalog, with accurate descriptions for each work, and like in the gallery, we have offered the opportunity to request information on the purchase of the works.
The result presents the identity of our partner from an artistic, cultural and character point of view in an evocative, intuitive way suitable for different types of audience.
